Stone Mountain Highland Games Oct 14-16

Well, I'm not going to make it this year due to some previous commitments that had slipped my mind. :-( Are these games always the second full weekend of October? Also, does anyone know of any other Games or Festivals in the general area coming up relatively soon (I'm in East TN, but a little travel is never a bad thing)? If not, guess I'll just need to be content with my trip down to the Tartan Museum.

They're always the THIRD full weekend in October.

Definitely make the Museum trip. I don'tow of any other games up your way until next year. This one kind of winds em up for the year.

By full weekend, I was counting in Fridays...but this is good news, as the things I'm otherwise committed to will always be the second full weekend (including Fridays) of October, so I can make plans to attend next year. Looks like I'm out, games-wise, until the Smoky Mountain Highland Games down in Knoxville next Spring. Most definitely going to be heading down to the museum, though, once my own kilt arrives! At least I made it to the Sycamore Shoals Celtic Festival in mid0September this year.

Smoky Mountain Highland Games May 18-20, 2012

Annual Grandfather Mountain Highland Games will be held July 12-15, 2012
