    hahaha my prospective partner is already well aware of my nerdiness (and ive also already showed him this thread ...and then watched the beads of sweat slowly roll down his temple as he nervously laughed and had me turn the air conditoning on..ok, im kidding).

    Sure, those brooches would work! Just no Mordor script on the wedding rings. Im a LOTR geek but im not THAT big of a LOTR geek.

    let's see - sack of powdered chalk for getting the horse gleaming white - velvet saddle cloth with gold fringing to keep chalk off groom's clothing - four boxes of lanterns to hang in trees, ditto tiny silver boats with candles to float on the lake as backdrop for evening events Garstang morris men, cossack dancers, fire eater, jugglers, acrobats, Madam Fifi with Errol the python, sword dancers.

    That should just about cover it.

    and as for the horses, I thought we could ride on them

    and I was thinking Clydesdales, of course.
