The MacGregor Clan Motto 'S Rioghal Mo Dhream (Royal is My Race)...pronunciation..."sreeal mo ghryme" I think the ghryme is close to saying graham but ghrahame...though thats just a guess.

Another note: MacGregor name was outlawed during the 16th century, many took the names of their friends and neighbours, there is a summery list somewhere with names adopted by MacGregors, the Walkers are among the listed names and Peters...I think as Peters is a listed sept of MacGregor, that maybe the influence for the name change.
