Do they make tweed Ike jackets?

That would be a beautiful jacket. If they don't it might be worth finding a pattern and having one made up.

I seem to recall seeing tweed and/or 'other fabric' (I don't remember now exactly what it was) short-waisted jackets for young adult men for one season when I worked at Penney's many many moons ago (late '80's). At least one was an 'Ike-style' jacket, with a waist belt closure.
