Waistcoat Pattern Recommendation

Any DIYers out there have a recommendation on a pattern you used for a waistcoat that was easy to follow and yielded a pleasing result?

I made one from Simplicity pattern 4762.
I had no sewing experience when I made that vest. Nevertheless, it was easy and it looked terrific. One caveat, I am a "Gentleman of Substance" and the large pattern was a bit snug on me. Now I just wear it open because I can no longer button it.

I have the gut of a beer drinker yet I rarely do so. I'll look into that pattern. Thanks for the input.

My wife bought McCalls #4231, and Vogue #7488 & #8048. They all allow options.
