Aye, home made, but not by me. They were made as a gift (how cool!) by a grizzled Marine top kick who used to be an active member of this forum until he ran afoul of the rules.
The image of this old Marine knitting garter ties cracks me up - sorta like huge football linemen knitting...
Kilts do bring out our artistic side and turn many of the fold into craftsmen.
