    Re: Special pocketed Sporran

Then Jordan you are going to love this new sporran. I usually wear a Nightstalker too. I have one in nylon, Black and Brown leather. Since I got the prototype in Brown leather I have not worn my Brown Nightstalker. I can put everything I would normally carry in my Nightstalker in this new sporran with room to spare.

It has a very similar storage arrangement but looks like a real sporran.

There are still some things we are working out in the design. The flap needs a bit of redesign and the front could use a bit of detailing to give it a destictive look. These are being worked on right now.

We are looking at a fur front option for those who like fur.

I'm sorry there is not a photo to show you but I hope you can understand that this is a new design and we don't want a photo shown here to be used by someone in Asia or the Middle East who will flood the market with a cheap knockoff before we can even work all the bugs out. This is a reality in today's world. If you go to a kilt business trade fair no one has their new products out and visible. If they do someone walks by with a cell phone and within a week a knockoff is in every shop on the Royal Mile. Most of the Scottish companies have stopped introducing new products for just this reason.

Steve I completely understand where your coming from with the cheap knockoffs. If you decide you want to send one to me for testing I would be more than happy to give an authentic Scottish opinion

The Chinese used to do this (and I'm sure they still do, but it no longer effects me) in the furnishing industries. You'd see guys with digital cameras just walking across the showrooms, filming everything. By the next big trade show, the Chinese knock-off companies would have copied everything you'd just introduced.

    Re: Special pocketed Sporran

I'm definately going to buy one of these (if it's affordable)!

Keep us up to date please Steve.

I know it's difficult to say, but do you have an estimated release date?

Roughly 1/2 our Semi Dress models, 1/2 the hunting models, and 2/3 the dress sporrans. On the PRODUCT page, it will state if it has an internal pocket in the description.

But I'm almost afraid to do it, since it will likely become useless when I upgrade my phone (whenever that might happen). If I build it to fit my current phone exactly, I risk it being too small for a future phone. But if I build it for a large phone, I risk my current phone tumbling around in there. I wonder if maybe an elastic sleeve would be best, so that it can accommodate several sizes/shapes.
I handle that with this leather phone sleeve for my iPhone 4s:

I also carry it that way at work in the breast pocket of my suit jacket.
