Re: Sporran of the Deep- A Ferguson Britt Christmas...
But to be totally biologically correct, dermal denticles are scales. Scales came first in the evolution of the vertebrates...long before there were jaws in which to mount teeth the jawless fishes protected themselves with scales. Teeth were modified from scales, not the other way round.
And compared to both teeth and scales, hair appeared last weekend.
So congratulations to you, Ryan, on matching the tartan honoring the ancient one with the oldest of all possible vertebrate epidermal elaborations.

That's a pretty fishy, RR. How does it like being so far away from the ocean?

Looks fantastic, Ryan! And I agree that the stingray sporran should work well for both evening and day wear.

Well, for the last five days or so, I've been having these strange dreams... like I'm being pulled under the water by an inexorable force. It may have something to do with the sporran wanting to get back home, but I've only had the sporran for a couple days. The kilt, on the other hand, came to me on tuesday. Hmm...

That is one of the nicer stingray sporrans I've seen. It all works very well together.
