    Ferguson Britt Muskrat sporran

Today I finally received my Ferguson Britt muskrat sporran. Let me say this is a thing of beauty and the descriptions do not do these justice, the workmanship is second to none. I am very happy to own such a fine piece and I am very glad Matt put them up for sale, I will wear it to the Tartan Day pub night in Fergus, and am sure that this one will quickly become a favourite sporran. Here are some photos I took once I got it home

Is it heavy or are you wearing it tight?, or is it the leather strap as it seems to be drawing your kilt in around your tummy. As mine is especialy large I have to watch I don't accentuate it further.

I think it is how I did it up and the fact that I was trying to take the photo myself so it is at an awkward angle.

I've ordered one myself and made sure to let Matt know I'm a big guy. The sporrans come with the strap and a really neat adjustment system. I just wanted to make sure it was big enough. Matt said, no problem.

Awsome sporran! The brown leather looks great with the muskrat... I've not seen one in that configuration, in person. And you're spot on about no picture ever being able to do a FB sporran justice. Lamar really is a master craftsman.

I'm pretty big myself (about a 44 kilt waist) and the standard strap was big enough for me. As long as Matt knows your measurements, I'm sure he'll tell Lamar to hook you up with a strap that will fit.

Note: The FB's adjustment system is quite something. Because there's no metal involved, there's nothing to scratch up the back of your belt, as a buckle might do. In addition, it may look complicated to fasten, but it's actually pretty easy, once you get the hang of it.

Ryan I totally agree the belt system is a little weird at first but it is easy to get used to, my belt seems to be a bit long but that's better than being too short.

You're making me jones even more for the beaver one I ordered just last week! Well at least I should have a steady stream of packages in the comming months to keep me happy, another 2 to 4 weeks for my Isle of Sky kilt, probably another 2 to 4 after that for my FB sporran, and then later this year the Xmarks newsome boxpleat I ordered this weekend =P
