    Boxing Day winds and kilts

I'm heading into Glasgow tonight for a few drinks with a few pals, so its a good excuse for being kilted, I'll not take the car as I would be unable to drive later on. The wind today is quite strong and I will be walking a lot tonight , hopefully it will die down a bit as it will be crazy in town tonight with a kilt on. I don't mind wearing it in a strong wind but it can be embarrasing at times and more bother than its worth

I fully agree. Sometimes its too windy here to wear a kilt. Seems to be the kilts only draw back, so far.

    Have fun and good luck.
    Somebody ought to.

    Let the wind blow high,
    Let the wind blow low,
Through the streets with his kilt he'll go!

    Jimmy's got no troosers!

    Regards

    Chas

Re: Boxing Day winds and kilts

When I brewed in a pub I made a wee heavy called Northwinds. Always wanted a shirt saying "Keep yourself warm with a wee heavy when the northwinds blow up your kilt".
