Why are membership discounts in-store only?

Upon becoming a member last month, I was told the membership discount can be applied via orders placed over the phone, too; just the website isn't setup to handle the discount.

Just an update on this thread. If you would like to use your member discount on line just put your membership number in the special instructions portion when you check out. We will then credit you back the discount amount via paypal.
