Wow, you guys are great.

Personally, I think Black Watch should be invited to this party too. It is so durn dark I find it to be a challenging sett to balance, but my wife loves it and it is a universal sett, so I am kind of stuck with it. No disrepect to veterans living or past intended.

I can hear the "matchy-match" chant starting already, but bear with me. This is a very common shirt color in the US. We might as well call the shirt color Lovat Blue and get it over with. I think, with a bright enough tie and suitable flashes this can step over the matchy-match line and be acceptable. I have been watching for a new red paisley tie in screaming crayola red for a couple years now.

Open collared with a not white t shirt underneath is a reach for me. But it could be done; and it is, I am sure you will agree, a cut or two above white hose with a white shirt and a white t shirt showing. I can't help but wonder how college aged American girls feel about this:

Moving away from the electrified third rail, I am retiring this sweater effective immediately. But, it does work OK with Black Watch kilt and lovat blue hose I think, just the sweater doesn't fit me for beans.
