    (Doctor hat off.)

If you desire to look at the urge to wear the kilt as a disease, then look at the purchasing of a kilt and other kit as a salve for the cutaneous manifestations of that disease, but realize that those purchases are only a superficial surface treatment for a systemic more than skin deep affliction, that will require continued purchases as ongoing maintenance therapy. Although possibly curable, it is far more likely that the cost and effort needed for effective therapy will be far greater than the simple maintenance costs, and one still gets to enjoy the other benefits of the affliction, i.e., wearing of the kilt.

I've contracted it too - a Wallace tartan is making its way to me as I speak, just a week after I was discouraged from wearing the kilt by family... The kilt bug burrowed under my skin and laid its eggs in my heart

See, it's a veritable epidemic. Before long it'll be a pandemic and there will be some of y'all slipping off and wearing pants. ;)

If you're gonna get a disease its a good one to get....

Some might even say its a wise investment since most hand sewn kilts and quality kilt gear retain their value. Safe from the wild ride and con games of the stock market and real estate....

It sounds good to me! I think it is catching.....

But just what is "jonesing"? I am new and I think that x marks need a dictionary.... It took me quite a while to figure out just what "jocking" a bonnet was.

There are definitions in the FAQ.
The "jones" is the waiting for an item to arive or be made etc.
