Very nice photos to all of you. Very smart velvet doublet, LitTrog - it suites you, as velvet doublets typically do not work well on everybody.
Cheers,

Cheers,
Thanks, Kyle. I never thought of myself as a velvet kind-of-guy, but I saw X marker MacRobert's Reply post some pictures of his, and thought it looked awesome! Took a chance, got lucky.

Your welcome, mate. Arguably, the closer fitting doublets in either velvet or barathea, are far better suited to 'fit and trim' gentlemen. Velveteen fabric (cotton or silk) is very traditional for Highland evening doublets, and the look is timeless, elegant, and very smart! Again, well done.
Cheers,

Re: Kilted Father and Son Pictures
Here are a couple of pictures from my wedding last summer. Two are my son and myself, and the other has my father in law and his two sons.

Re: Kilted Father and Son Pictures
This one is a few years old, but here is the whole family. The wife and I are wearing Keith modern, and the boys are wearing black watch.

Now, neither of them will wear a kilt. I'll be glad when they are over the teen years.

Here's one of me and the old man from a couple years ago, before he got too skinny for his kilt;

Is there a prize for ages? Our combined age here was about 125
