Top or slightly above just feels better to me. What others do is completely up to them. To be honest, I rarely notice, save when the kilt is worn too long.

I have worn a kilt anywhere between the centre of the kneecap and about one inch higher (top of kneecap). I prefer the centre of the kneecap (which is what I was taught by my father and uncles growing up) and voted accordingly but agree that slightly shorter is preferable to slightly too long

Between the top and middle. NO lower than the middle, no higher than the top.
Money is flat and meant to be piled up.

Exactly 22" below the upper edge of the kilt.

I prefer top of the knee, although I have worn kilts which were longer. If I wear one that goes to the bottom of the knee, I am self-conscious about it.

I like it at the top of the knee, but love it 1/4" over the kneecap.
