Actually I was thinking of Blue, Gold, Tan and Silver. But I have the artistic ability of an average person who requires two straight-edges placed edge to edge with enough space for the lead to draw a straight line.

Rondo
P.S. I like the Edzell a whole lot better than the Polaris.
The Goat Hair sporran is only for parade or events after 5:00 PM. Otherwise the standard Day sporran will suffice. Kindly check US Navy Uniform Regulations, Chapter 3, Male CPO

I can make jokes about Jarheads, squids, doggies, air heads, and the shallow water sailors. But don't let anyone who never served do it! It's just inter-service rivalry, and we all love each other when it comes down to it. But we've earned the right to insult, love, hate, fight, etc. each other. And then fight and die in the same hole, the same plane, or the same ship if necessary.

And, yes, we're part of the Navy--the military part. Hahahahahahahahaha.

I'm sure no one else understands why Marines are cocky, louder, more visible than other branches, etc., but unless you're a Marine, you'll never get it. So don't try.

"There are only two kinds of people that understand Marines: Marines and those who have met them in battle. Everyone else has a second-hand opinion." it was not for nothing that they were called "Devil Dogs."
Of course the Marines are part of the Navy. they consider themselves to be the Men's Department. But every Marine I've ever talked with knows who the Man above the Men is in the Corps: The Navy Corpsman!
(BTW, while my information may be considered to be "Second-Hand" as I was never a Marine and never met them in battle, I did, at one point, stand with them during battle. I may jab at them with a pointed stick from time to time, but it is only to make sure that the quality control hasn't decreased in the same manner as the creation of the newly minted CPO's that follow a PQS rather than in indoctrination. I fear for the day that some political ya-who decides that Marines need to be "toned down just a bit;" with luck, the Corps will just sick Chuck Norris on him as it is below their dignity. Kindly consider that Chuck was a lowly AF MP, tells you something about the level of Kick **** that the average Marine can carry.)

To the group; Thanks for the Laugh!
