    space dyed yarn

    Has anyone made any tartan with space dyed yarn? This is the stuff that produces a visual effect when used in cloth. I'm curious because I dye these yarns in wools, cottons and polys. Is there a use in plaid cloth?

    I don't know anything about it, but do you know of an outfit in our area that would weave a particular tartan in a polyester-type upholstery-weight fabric?
