That's probably because we remember them from the first time around. I think I've seen them in fashion at least twice in my lifetime
Because of that I just consider them old fashioned, along with platform shoes, highwayman collars (making a comeback), flared trousers and kipper ties and wide lapels on jackets (also making a comeback). For myself I will pass them by but I am sure those younger than I am will love them, and why not?
