Paul,

I was only meaning to point out that, even though your tartan was not live on the STA web site, that did not mean Brian had not recorded the details of it in the ITI.

I also wouldn't say that the STA is "not keen" on there being a single index of tartans, as they were one of the major parties who advocated for a single government approved register. There are simply some "growing pains" involved in the creation of the new government register, which are to a certain extent understandable. And I'll just leave it at that! :-)

I just sent the SRT a query. I'll post the response or, at least, the thrust of it, though it may be a few days.

Indeed, the SRT is a work in progress. I just received a response to my query - 3 days - not too shabby.

I won't reproduce the entire response, but the thrust of it is ...
