Rascal you!
The fish are fine. Thank you for asking.
This is a concept design. I need to smooth the lines on the Northern pike, and shorten the tail and curve the caudal dorsal fin on the walleye.

Yea. I've been losing sleep over that.

I got a new saw with a 4" throat, and dang if I don't believe it does not like the blades that I have been using. Well, that just does not make much sense to me, but I am going to get a couple other brands of blades and see how they perform.

Re: piperdbh's new tyger buckle
All this talk of cheep thistle buckles and troublesome saw blades is, well troubling!
A true sign of the times we live in, wouldn't you say? I mean, what's next? All metal, handwrought sporrans and head-on badger buckles? 100% coton kilts and worsted wool tshirts?
Madness!

Well, that's clearly unhelpful to me!
Those blades are far too small for me to re-forge into knife blades!!

Be not troubled, brother. Help is on the way. Ryan and I have loose plans to be up your way. An appearance in Bozeman is pending, as we anticipate that we will be receiving accolades from around the world.

Well, you would need a pile of them, but at the rate that I break them, it would happen!

Drat!!!
Repurposing saw blades and such is an awesome way to go. Not only your gig, Shawn, but also the MO of one of my favorite, more production oriented outfit.
They make great blades too, but nothing can beat hand forging and/or custom designs and a personal touch.
