HEY I guess it’s my job to stand up for the “LOWER PRICE KILTS” first of all some of our advertisers on this forum Sell those kilts you are calling “CRAP”. Second not all of us can afford 300 plus dollars each for a custom made kilt. I have several Pakistan made kilts and I like them just fine especially when I can buy 3-5 of then for the price of one custom made kilt. No I don’t think they are as high a quality as a custom wool but they are not CRAP and you should not criticize those of us who like them and wear them.

Are you trying to un-hijack this thread?
For shame, for shame!

Matty,
I don't think anyone really is putting down members that can't afford a tank. However, in all honesty, I have received very little value for monies spent acquiring kit from the sub-continent. We wear what we can afford and get by the best way we can.

Racism wasn't implied by the poster who subsequently deleted his misread post.
Racism was inferred by the poster from Scotland.
Thread has gone well off track since then, but no racism implied or inferred since then--please join us in avoiding any semblance of racism by staying well off-topic!

Yeah...one of us North Americans used a word that here, has no special meaning but apparently is a racial slur in the UK. A good learning experience really, as I learned something new.

I believe the current status of this thread is with a student who was drinking a beer while eating a burrito or maybe some grits and designing a t-shirt.

Well done MT! And I sincerely beg the indulgence and forgiveness of the assembled posters to this thread for my lapse in very nearly pushing the thread back on topic, I am sorry...I feel so ...so...so dirty.
