Yeah, well the photographs do not quite capture how difficult it was to get to the areas that I cured. But most of the work was done with a fiberglass rod that I used to apply the butyl rubber. Gooping and spreading a goop at a time.

Re: piperdbh's new tyger buckle
Just a note to say that I really liked that DBH buckle on the Carolina tartan. Very cool.

Is that what we were talking about?

Anyway, it is what it is. And if this works then I will be very happy. And 30 years from now I quite likely will not be driving this car.
Really, my '68 still has the battery in the front?
I wish batteries lasted that long.
I'm sure it will work, patch jobs like taht will last for a while.

No, we were talking about your DBH buckle until you got back. You have been working while we have been shirking.

I like the metal, and I like the wool. Nothing wrong with that!

Two whole days with nothing new?
I'm taking my top choir to the Biltmore House to sing tomorrow.
Can anybody top that?

Probably not.
...I'm being systematically targeted for elimination, but in comparison to yours, that sounds boring.

Congratulations, David, on the invite to the Big House. Not that Big House! Wish I were there. Is there an Event that this entails?
We are licking our wounds. We were having fun and got whacked, and nobody likes that. So, I am going to be posting less. I went for a year or more without contibuting. I have other things I really should be doing, so I will get back to doing those things that have priority.
You know, any Forum ought to be a place where people can grow, develop, and contribute. All with GOOD intentions. I know that I feel that way , and so does Ryan and all of the guys that I know real well.
I have had several people contact me and tell me they were sorry for the hot water.
What saddens me is the older guys that brought me in are now nowhere to be found. It truely is a loss.
Sometimes we can take ourselves too seriously. Then looking back, we see we should have been forgiving, and had a better sense of humor.
