    McCallum AB4, with Crozier fiberglass drone reeds, Kron blackwood chanter with Apps G3 reed.

    Why? They sound good and these particular pipes are plain-turned (no combing or beading) with antiqued nickel/brass ferrules and slides. I like the simpler, plainer appearance.

    Neat post!

    I play a set of Pettigrew pipes with a Naill poly chanter. They were a surprise gift from my parents years ago. I'm currently using Warnock chanter reeds and Kinnaird Carbon Fiber drones reeds (I'm very happy with these).
