It looks like I will have to make the same decision soon. I've been losing weight for the last couple of months and plan to lose a significant amount more (I want to get down to my Army weight, about 50 more pounds!) Anyway, I haven't worn a kilt for a few months and put one on this morning for Tartan Day. Before, my kilts had been getting a little tight. Today, my kilt fits really well on the tightest notch, so it won't be long until it's too big.

That's one of the good and bad things about losing weight. It's good because you get a whole new wardrobe. It's bad because you have to spend the money on a whole new wardrobe!!

Save the oldies. Hope you don't, but most of us gain it back. One of the reasons I have so many kilts is that they cover about a 20 lb range of sizes....

I haven't regreted keeping some of the too small ones, or too big ones.

I to have lost a lot of weight this year, I took my kilt to reputable kilt maker and had her adjust the buckles and refit the kilt for me. It was worth it.
