Now I just have to wait...!
Well,
I received these pics from the legendary Artificer... I can't stop looking at them!
It's already been posted... so, now it's just a waiting game.
The cantle plate was made by my dad, and the rest was all Scott's amazing work- and I was given plenty of input in the design process. I was looking for something completely custom, that didn't look like the ones from hire companies- but that still looked traditional.
I think the final result is just stunning (of course, I still have to see it in person) but yeah, I am really satisfied with the overall look, and am sure that it will be treasured for generations to come.
Simply stunning! (Seriously one of the most beautiful sporrans I've ever seen!)

Thanks Artificer!

Cheers,
Michael

Wow, stunning is right. Such nice clean lines that are accented by the cantle plate. I always enjoy seeing something functional transcend into art. Good for you being on the receiving end of this fine work.

Beautiful and original. A one-of-a-kind heirloom for sure.
(pssst...now that you'll no longer be needing that horse hair sporran....)

Thanks, yes I agree!
Well... I might have to think about thinning out my "collection"... In all honesty, unless I get around to (saving for) commissioning a day sporran, I think this will be the only sporran I will wear from now on!
Cheers,
Michael

I love how it manages such nice clean (modern) lines, while still being beautifully traditional. And I agree... it is art!
