In fanfiction, there's a term for stories which are basically just an excuse to write a story-long description of characters boinking one another senseless: PWP, or Porn Without Plot (aka Plot, What Plot?). I think a lot of Van Damme's movies were like this, only with 'porn' replaced by 'fight'. It's a sort of sub-sub-genre of the big dumb action movie.
Quite...Sorta like anything with Chuck Norris in it-though CN is more family friendly (Walker, Texas Ranger run for example).
Problem with cinematic production is they stop every 30 seconds to "adjust costuming" Realistically, in a 5 minute round, guess where a kilt goes? Hint: It ain't up!
