True, but I must say that I've helped put shingles on the roof wearing a Utilikilt. Quite a sight, I'm sure, especially with knee-pads! On the other hand, I must also say that my coworkers didn't say anything perhaps out of courtesy, embarrasment, terror, or all the above (excuse the pun).

But, yes, it eventually comes down to "It all depends... on a bunch of things."

Another who agrees with the dress for the occasion or situation comments. My husband actually doesn't find the kilt to be his most comfortable garment, and while he's handsome wearing that, I also find him to be handsome wearing jeans or shorts too. Variety is awesome.

Aye. Sometimes I get tired of young pretty women I don't know coming up to me and asking flirtateous questions. On those days I'll wear jeans or shorts instead of a kilt.

Must be a terrible burden to bear. Does it help?

Don't ever remember being approached by women I've never met when I'm wearing pantz.....well, this one time in Las Vegas....but other than that....nada. So yes, it helps to "unkilt" from time to time.

Every chick magnet needs a break now and again, I suppose. I've not suffered from that particular malady, at least within the bounds of vivid memory.

Not daft, just realizing that constant attention can be tiring, irritating, boring, etc. You know, like big-time movie stars and paparazzi.
