I'm hoping to make it down on Saturday. I've never been to the Chicago games so I hope it's worth the 2 1/2 drive.

Luckily for you it's not actually in Chicago, but Itasca, just off route 90, much easier than going into the city.

Change of plan for me. I'll be there tomorrow, but with the heat, I'm guessing one day is my limit and Saturday has the more exciting schedule.

Sorry I missed out on meeting some of you. I was at the games Saturday morning, but left shortly after noon because of the heat.

I went on Saturday with my fiance and my dad. It was my first time going and I had no idea what to expect, but it was amazing! I was stupid and ended up hauling around my big, leather-bound portfolio in case people noticed the drawing I did of a Scotsman that was printed on my shirt I wore. I even brought business cards, but sadly nobody asked about it. I'm kinda shy so I'm not going to walk up to random people and ask if they'd like a business card (which has a pin up of a Scotsman on it). The plus side of things was that I bought a kilt and a fake sword for my fiance and a corset dress for myself (which we will be wearing to the Bristol Renaissance Faire, not sure what day we're going. Some weekend when it's cooler).
