Do you notice which one is an advertiser here? Which one chooses to support the forum you are using to find your answer?

Thanks Steve, but I thought the funds we paid every month went to your coffee addiction!

There are many members here who swear by each and some by both. Personally, I don't own a Sportkilt, only a USA kilt. High quality and fast, personal service are what keep me coming back to USA Kilts. I not saying that I wouldn't wear a Sportkilt, only that I do not have one and thus I cannot speak to the details of a Sportkilt.
USA Kilts has a great selection of tartans, they have "off-the-rack" kilts or you can have one made to your measurements, they offer both wool and PV and they also have a wide selection of accessories like jackets, vests, a variety of sporran, and more. There are less expensive kilts out there but you get what you pay for.
You cannot go wrong with any of the companies that advertise here. They are all top-notch.

I couldn't agree more. I like to support those that support XMTS. There is a wide variety of kilts. of all manner available, but keeping it "in the family" is always nice when able.

sportkilts are like overpriced sweat pants (underarmor is absurd to me, also). i would never consider one for their "new" asking price (mine were ebay steals). they are comfy, but i do not wander outside in pajama pants, either. i assume you put the 2 sites up since you are in the $100 price range--go for a usak casual. if sportkilts are sweats, usak casuals are nice jeans and even khakis for, um, casual wear. my usak casuals make it out the door the pub, bbq, friend's houses, errands--stuff like that--which means much of the time. go with usak.

I LOVE my Sport kilts I own 4 of then. With summers here in Utah 90+ degrees I have been wearing my Sport kilts Every day. They are cool cumfortable and machine washable. I also now own Two USA kilts I love them but they are a little warm and too expencive for everyday wear.

I have both, I bought two SKs early on in my kilt wearing, still got them but I don't wear them out of the house. I have 7 USAKilts semi-trads, and I wear them everywhere!
