Boy John, it is such a cool store. Quality stuff, lots of it, and good folks. Still kind of out in the boonies, but accessible.
My buddy Mike (the other guy in the pic) has lived in Red Bank NJ for decades. Would that be close to the places you mention? The gang we were with all graduated in '75 or a few in '76 from SUNY Plattsburgh. One of our gang is a doc at John Hopkins and puts this party on every year with friends old and new. There were well over 100 people there, but just me in a kilt.
I chose Ancient Campbell tartan for my first custom kilt, as Campbell is my most direct Scot lineage. They had material in a roll there that they literally brought out and showed me, so I know exactly what I'm getting, which is very cool.
