As I've got older, I've come to dislike politics more and more. I hate election time because it's so difficult to watch anything on TV or listen to anything on the radio without being bombarded by political ads. I wish there was a Rule 5 imposed on all media so we could live in peace. (The only time we would hear about politicians is when they actually said something or did something worthy of notice.)

Religion I'll talk about all day! Or linguistics. Or history. Or genetics. Or the movies. Anything but politics! I just don't want to hear it.
