    Lovely, as always artificer. I'm curious if the soft body prevents the tassels from making a ruckus, as well as the lack of rapping of the sporran itself on the legs that you mentioned? I actually cut the tassels off my old hard-body sporran because I didn't like sounding like a horse was following me around...

    Thanks Colin,
    I just strapped it on to test it out- unless I'm either jogging or goose-stepping (neither are activities I normally do while kilted ) the tassels are quiet.
    I'm assuming it's partly due to the short braids (less room for them to swing) and partially due to the soft body that they strike.

    This is exactly the trio (belt, strap, and sporran) that I hope will be decorating my body in late June/July. My children are already arguing over who will get them in the will. I also hope that the rest of the rabble will be reeking away in odious envy. Ha!
    Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.
