Fan?! You are waay out of the loop--he came out of retirement a few seasons ago and is playing again!

It's true that he was the quarterback for the Rogues, but they traded him to the Moria Miners for two first-round picks. After a brief stint with the Miners, salary cap issues and the need to bolster their abysmal defensive line saw Gandalf's contract sold to Denver.

He's had a tremendous season so far. Not only has he orchestrated several come-from-behind victories as quarterback, he also plays on the other side of the ball as a stellar defensive end. His defense against the run is adequate, but in long-yardage 3rd down situations he is one of the best!

For my costume I put together this Steampunk theme using the leather Union Kilt. The boots were a pain to put on. They lace all the way up and to get them on and off you have to remove all the laces. The had a vote for the best costume. I tied for second place.

This is how I dressed last evening to hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. Though not a Halloween costume, my outfit may appear upside down to some (tartan on top)! I had a lot of fun, got a lot of comments and the kids, for the most part, loved it.

Well if Gandalf came out of retirement , he is now Gandalf the White , therefore Denver should go to and win the Super Bowl ! Hmm , we'll have to see how that plays out !

This was my outfit on Wednesday night. I sat motionless in front of the house with a big tub of sweets at my feet.
"Is it a man? Is it a dummy?" they'd ask each other at the roadside, before approaching.
As they get just close enough to reach out for the sweets, I jump up at them.
