    Traveling soon

    Hey all,

I'm heading to CA in about 10 days and was wondering if you had any suggestions for rolling/packing a kilt. Thanks to all!

If you are going to be in the San Francisco area get in touch and we can get together for a beer or two.

I can't recall where, but there was a recent thread on packing a kilt. Different kilt rollers were discussed and even an "off-label" use for old pantyhose. Try the search function.

Rolling your kilt is a great way to travel (unless you wear it on the plane). I use a Kilter kilt roller and do a "carry-on".
One caution... if your kilt pin looks like a wee claymore you will get stood aside at the security check. I just do a quick explanation and open the kilt roller and all is well.
