    I wish I could make it this year! I'll be stuck in Willamsburg; tantalizingly close. If anyone is in the area and hasn't been before, I highly recommend the event. It is magnificent.

    I'll be there as usual. Having breakfast before the parade with Clan Donald, then marching with the Appin Historical Society.

    Here are my pix from last years Walk.

    Again, I offer to the Rabble who may not have a Clan or a Clan that is in the parade to join the Clan MacCallum Malcolm Society for the walk. The only requirements are to have some tartan showing, smile and wave. PM me if wish you to join us.

    11:00 AM, what unfortunate timing! Manassas' Christmas Parade runs 10:00 to Noon on the same day. Next year I will have to take off to at least do the Friday activities.

    I'll be walking with Davidsons. And I will be at Starbucks beforehand:

    “The Scottish-American Military Society Post 2 (Post of the Potomac) asks everyone participating or observing the Alexandria Old Town Scottish Christmas Walk to bring a toy, unwrapped, for a child between 5-12 years old, to support Toys For Tots. You’re requested to drop it off, on the way to the parade staging or your observing location, at the Starbucks on the corner of King and St. Asaph between 9:30 and 10:30am. The Post of the Potomac is conducting this function in conjunction with the United States Marines Corps Reserve. Please pass the word to your own clans and associations - this is the first year for this, and we would appreciate your support for this grassroots effort to provide a lot of toys for the children of the Washington DC Metro area.”;

    Barring emergencies, I'll be there with the Clan Young Society. Accompanied by (at last count) my Bride,1 daughter, 1 son-in-law and 4 grandkids. My wife won't be walking, but she comes along to help me control the ravening horde.
    Kind of feel obligated to attend, seeing as how they used me in their advertising.- http://www.campagnacenter.org/en/33/default.aspx

    Glad the damage was only minor, and congrats on the grandson!
