    My new kilt

I received a new kilt for Christmas, my first "traditional" kilt. I finally had the chance to wear it after relocating to Georgia. The wife and I went out to local Irish pub to watch the Packers playoff game. I got a lot of approving looks, and can't wait to wear it more. I do need to get a proper kilt belt and sporran hangers. Hopefully my wife will knit me a balmoral soon. Thank you all for being an inspiration.

Looks GREAT. What is that tartan? Kudos on the hose color choice. Very nice looking indeed.
You might consider picking up some red flashes too as an alternative. They would pick up the red
in the kilt nicely I think.

    A very well put-together outfit.

What am I seeing on the inside of your left leg?

    Regards

Oh just checked his profile, looks like it might be weathered MacKenzie. Great look.

Oh boy, I guess I should have looked more carefully at pictures. I mistakenly put one flash on the inside of the calf, one outside, I now realize the error of my ways. The tartan is weatehred MacKenzie, it is a Stillwater standard kilt. It does look different in real life as opposed to their picture on their site. Knotty, thank you for the sporran compliment, it is my first handmade sporran.
