A quick update on Panache
Hello All,
So many of you have kindly expressed concern and good wishes towards me due to my recent heart problems I thought I would offer an update on my health.
The mechanical valve is doing great!
I have seen my cardiologist, heart surgeon, and infectious disease specialist and all three have been very pleased at my progress. I have been told that I need to take it easy and that Scottish Country Dance will need to wait a week or two (and then only strathspeys). I am going for walks several times a day and getting stronger.
Best of all...
...I have been given permission to have a real cup of coffee each morning!
Thanks for all the good wishes
Cheers

Jamie,
Of course we're all glad that you've recovered, but I for one hope you will take away from this episode a well-learned lesson; that one puts Costco olives in their martinis at their own peril.
Glad you're back...
