Have a family-oriented Clan event. Let the other parents in the clan help to get their children interested.

Give them heavily discounted membership while they are at college and then a stepped increase to full price. With the proviso that if there was an interruption before the end then the deal finishes early. It will be a bargain for them and continue to be so for up to 10 years later. A win for them and a win for the Clan. Regards Chas
I belong to a few organizations that are always seeking new and younger members. The groups that are most successful are those that make sure that anyone who does come to an event is made to feel welcome. Encourage your membership to acknowledge newcomers by engaging them in conversation, even if it is brief. At the very least, every officer, or board member, should make it a point to greet all newcomers and guests. The more welcome that potential new members are made to feel, the more likely it is that they will join.
*** to all the suggestions. And, perhaps you could add a Facebook and Twitter presence. The younger crowd is very tuned into "new" media.
