Sacramento Valley Scottish Games & Festival

My wife and I just made reservation in Sacramento for the Sacramento Valley Scottish Games & Festival. Just wondering if any of the Nor Cal Rabble will be in attendance? My wife and I will be in and out of the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans tent thought out the weekend.

Yes, me and mine will be there. It is our "home" games, if you will, and also our favorite. I think it is the perfect sized event, large enough to have plenty to see and do yet small enough to be able to get up close and personal with the musicians and athletes. Lots of food vendors, sheep dog events, large indoor vendor buildings as well as outside sales, a large clan representation etc. It is always a well organized and well laid out event.

We Xmarks ers, and former Xmarks ers, tend to gather around the very hospitable MacNaughton tent throughout the weekend. PM me and I will give you my cell number so we can be sure to connect.

We are trying to decide if we are going to the Saturday Night Ceilidh. Has anyone gone before or planning to go this year? Opinions?

I think my wife and I might be going to the Ceilidh Saturday night. This is our first time at this event so we will be in and out of the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans tent throughout the weekend.
