As far as I know, and I bought my kilt in such a shop, not even they tell you to put on the kilt and sporran before the hose and shoes.

"The sporran is not a purse! It used to be used for to store things but now it's mostly for decoration"
I suppose my keys, wallet and cell phone are meant to be stuffed into my hose along with my imitation "dirk". lolz.

You must have forgotton #11 cause that dirk is no weapon I've ever seen as part of a kilt outfit. Irony off
What I wonder is how you came across this film. Surely you know better how the wear your kilt than most people on youtube.

I was watching videos on the Scottish Chiefs on the STV channel and it popped up in the recommended videos for me. I thought I'd click on it to see what the lad had to say.

I'd feel bad about making fun of the guy except for the fact that he continually defends his lack of correct facts.
I'd say that this calls for a new emoticon here. The Facepalm.

I do feel bad and I will say sorry if he registers here to get some proper advise for the next time.
And one more case why I don't like it when machines choose links for websites, as we can see in the comments on youtube people with no experience in kiltwearing actually believe stuff on youtube.

My earliest memory of Jacobite shirts was seeing The Corries wear them which would have been the 70's.
