    The song did pretty well in the vote too, unlike those from countries that used to win regularly such as the UK and Ireland.

    Much as I love Bonnie Tyler, our song was rubbish which was not her fault. The contest is now the exclusive domination of Scandinavia and Eastern Europe with "neighbourly" voting being the largest determining factor.

    We did not even make the final (unlike at the hockey world championship in the same country ) I guess it isn't neighbourly voting, it's more likely travelling and emigrational voting because many people in western europe don't really care. I've never voted for Eurovision.

    I was shocked Ireland did not do better (trois points), when it was almost impossible for the country to lose 20 years ago.
    Anyway, no one died.
