First, I can tell you your kilt will be received as it is anywhere else in the world... well with those that are decent and the thugs will be thugs.

My wife is from north Dublin and is very supportive of me wearing kilts. Her family thinks it's great and I have always been received well... excluding the drunken thugs... who as stated before will be thugs no matter what. They are few and far between.

So, long story short, wear your kilts, take lots of photo's and have a safe trip.
