Greetings, and welcome from the state of Illinois. Looks like you won't have any treble fitting in. (Sorry.)

Thanks to all for the welcome! I'm pleased to say I have been in or near many of your locales. Others I hope to visit some day. Strangely enough, most visits have been music related.
Northern California, Chicago (lived in Rockford for a summer), Ontario, Tennessee, Wisconsin. To my new UK friends, I've had the pleasure to visit in Warwickshire and Kent, and have many fond memories from that trip. Australia is a place I aspire to see.
Again, Thanks!

Greetings :Ēlef, and welcome form, Delaware. That was a wonderful introduction. Researching your family roots is interesting and fun and, in my opinion, the best place to start when considering a tartan. Of course, XMTS will be another useful resource for you.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief
wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. "The Last Highlander" Sara Fraser
