That's a pretty good idea, philbo. I dont think the wife and I will be having kids. Just doesn't seem to be in our "plan". (Like you can plan on a thing like that)

Luckily, my dad was able to uncover some Irish family names that I wasn't aware of before. I may go that route.

My aunt on my mother's side is going to try to track the Norwegian family to the county of their origin so I can see if there's a county tartan from that area.
