I got one of their "16oz" acrylics off of EBay and for the price I'm very pleased with it, but I got a "13oz" as well and if wasn't so good. It's ok again for the price, but doesn't hang, or hold the creases so well as the other one. However they do have some nice fashion tartans.
I don't know this company so I can't really comment on the articles that they sell or their customer service but I may say that, generally speaking, in the Highland Dress world you get what you pay for and that there is a world of difference between what you are buying from this company and a 16 oz wool tank made to fit you from a good kiltmaker.

If you are good with that, and you have not heard anything bad about the way that they go about their business, then go for it.

I may just add that if one day you manage to find the possibility of strapping a 16 oz wool kilt around your waist you will probably become addicted forthwith.

Edited to add: I only own 16 oz wool kilts. If I can't afford one, then I "save up" until I can.

I'm still waiting for my first wool kilt, but it's a 5 yarder and I think 11 oz. I wanted something I could wear in 50 Deg C. Fot everyday wear though, the heavier option of this companies kilts are quite good. I will be saving though.
