Hello, I stumbled upon this forum while searching for bigger Kilt hose. I loved what I saw and told myself I need to join that community. I'm 34, have 1 kilt. A Scruffy Wallace casual from USA and Rockys crew. I am very fortunate to live only 20 minutes from such a great shop. I bought it a couple years ago and only wore it a couple times. I was only going to wear it to Ren. Faires and things like that. But I've recently decided to make the Kilt part of my regular wardrobe. I'll be going in the next week or two to order my next kilt. Right now I'm think of St.Andrews, I have no Scottish ties so I think I'll be sticking to the Universal Tartans. I'm definitely going to take a step up and go Semi traditional so I can't wait and very excited for #2.

I should not have said I have no Scottish ties. My Grandfathers side of the family seems to have originated in Scotland (Woodburn) but can not find a Tartan to match the name. But I read somewhere the Woodburns swore there allengence to the Cunningham clan. If that is true, can someone tell me if it would be frowned upon to wear a Cunningham tartan?
