i had also a short barbour coming just to my pleats. but for next winter i was also thinking about a trench coming down right to my ankles. i can t imagine another possibility to fight against icy wind we have there. i would buy mine in black...
regarding that the cold wind is the problem much more then the temperature is, i will also cut my old dark blue duffle coat to pleat height, which is made of thick wool material. would look great i think...
