It was nice getting to meet up with you lads today. The weather was pretty good right up until about 5:15 when it started to pour!

Great to meet everybody! I am glad you had the dandelion. I spotted you right away. Gotta get me one of those. Since I went on Friday, I had already seen most of what there was to see and I left shortly after our meetup. I was safely home before the rain started.

I was in attendance but pressing issues at home kept me from getting there untill after 2 pm, in fact I arrived moments before the knobbly knees contest started, and too late to enter it
I stayed clear up to the deluge started then I beat feet to the car to avoid a possible third lightning strike (afraid of the "third times the charm" concept)
I regret not arriving earlier to meet up, perhaps a kilt night is in the cards?

Hey all,
Sorry I couldn't make the meet-up, but I got pressed into service by some bagpipe folks I know and was there to watch. I hope MiKilt passed along my apologies.
Regardless, I would love to have a kilt night sometime to meet up, get to know eachother, etc.
On the odd-chance you saw the guy in the picture below though, that was me!

I went Pride of Wales, because, well, I'm proud to have Welsh in me, but also so I could rock the inappropriate Welsh soccer jersey, and becasue I thought it was supposed to rain earlier in the day than it did.
See you all soon!
Rob

Dear Julia,
I wanted to take the time to offer my sincerest and most enthusiastic thanks to you and everyone else who helped to produce this year's Scottish Festival And Highland Games. This was the first year that I was able to attend and both me and my guests had an absolutely wonderful time. Everything was extremely well organized and managed, and I am truly sorry I did not attend on both days because there was so much to see and do.
On behalf of myself and also my fellow X Marks The Scot members, please extend my highest praise to everyone on your staff, the volunteers, etc., for staging such an outstanding event!
Best Regards,
Lamont W. Clements

Rob, we'll meet again soon, mate, no worries, and if we're lucky one of us will be driving a Jag, an MGB or maybe even a Bentley or
Austin-Healy--with Tom Jones blaring from the stereo! ALWAYS be proud of that Welsh geneology in you--it is rare and special and truly magical, the Celtic Maverick in you--never deny it. CILT ON!

A thorough joy to meet up with all of you.
And yes, the festival was lovely up until not long before 1700. 'Was among those who made tracks to the vehicle and got off the grounds before the deluge and light-and-sounds show (which followed all the way home).
Special thanks to Mikilt for arranging the meet-up. You are a fine bunch of lads, best to all!
