    There are a multitude of things that people use for kilt pins from old radio valves to slices of polished rock. Do you have a hobby or belong to some organisation that has some kind of pin or medallion. It's just a situation finding something that has some meaning to you and fitting it to a tack pin or a horse blanket type pin. If you look up "Show us your kilt pins" using the search function you will find a numerous good ideas. Cheers
