2 questions.....
1, what is Rennish.
2, is it still made?
Rhennish is a German wine from the Rhine Valley. I am not sure if the exact type mentioned in the books is still made, but certainly the Rhine Valley is an active wine producer.

Wasn't sure about the series after episode 1, but that's the introduction of course, so nothing can be predicted from that. Quite liked episode 2, although there's a lot of romance-novel wish fulfillment, but it's tolerable. I love the art direction and the look of the series but most of all the score. Beautiful, authentic instrumentation.

It's also quoted in the 1995 movie, "Rob Roy," by His Grace the Duke of Argyll, played by the late Andrew Keir.
